Christmas is just around the corner. My tree is up, but I’ve seen a cute heart-shaped Christmas decoration in my local department store that would make a great new addition to my holiday collection. It’s a cotton patchwork of materials, with pretty embroidered holly in the centre … it is so pretty it may just find its way onto my tree.
I made a paper version using the season of style designer series paper from Stampin’ Up…
The sentiment from “more merry messages” fitted beautifully,
I punched out berries from red glimmer paper to add to punched out holly leaves, and some faux stitching lines with a white gel pen.
Here’s what I used to make today’s card – all supplies from Stampin’ Up!:
cardstock: textured cherry cobbler, whisper white, red glimmer paper, old olive, season of style; stamp sets: more merry messages; inks: cherry cobbler; punches: small oval, 1/2″ circle, crop-a-dile; accessories: hearts framelits, bigshot, stampin’ dimensionals, white gel pen, tombo glue.
I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.
