Punch art penguin for a Merry Little Christmas …

Happy Christmas Eve everyone.  I’m taking a few quiet moments amidst the festivities to share another cute Christmas card with you…

Merry penguin

The Merry Little Christmas simply created card kit from Stampin’ Up was brilliant for making this cute penguin punch art card.  The kit comes with everything you need to make the basic card – including the buttons, baker’s twine, and a fabulous Christmas red designer series paper to line the envelopes with – all you need to add is your own embellishment.  I chose to add a little punch art penguin with a die cut sentiment.

The pale blue and red colours with the font of the “merry”, remind me so much of an American diner, giving the card a kind of retro feel, which I love.

I’ve entered my card in the Less is More blog challenge.  This week we have to choose a previous challenge from the past year – I chose week 148 sparkle – and with the gorgeous red glimmer paper from Stampin’ Up, the sentiment really does that!

I have a very special card to share with you tomorrow … so do pop by again soon.

Here’s what I used to make today’s card – all supplies from Stampin’ Up!:

cardstock: whisper white, basic black, pumpkin pie, real red glimmer paper; punch: owl; accessories: Merry Little Christmas simply created card kit, expressions thinlits, bigshot machine, stampin’ dimensionals.

I love receiving your messages, so if you have any questions, or you just want to say hi, do please leave me a comment.

Thanks for dropping by today
