Engagement card creative elements by Stampin’ Up …

I often make cards for my friends and family – I love having a new project to focus on.  So when my friend, Clare, asked me to make an engagement card in red and white, I was only too happy to oblige …

I stamped the pretty flourishes from the creative elements stamp set by Stampin’ Up, across the card, and added a few butterflies from the Fabulous You set here and there too.  (These stamp sets are being retired at the end of June, so grab yours while you can.)

The sentiment was computer generated, then embossed with the square designer frame embossing folder and big shot machine.  The frame was cut out by hand using my paper snips and adhered to the card with stampin’ dimensionals.

Tiny hearts, punched out with the owl punch, were adhered in a random pattern, and a sprinkling of rhinestones added too.  And finally, a tiny, fork-tied bow was adhered with mini glue dots.  This card would be equally fitting as an anniversary or wedding card – just change up the colours to fit the occasion.
