Itty Bitty Christmas with layers dies

Hi and welcome to my blog.

It’s a new month with a new hostess at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.  The first challenge of the month is always a sketch – here’s my take on it…

I used the Christmas Layers die set by Stampin Up to cut snowflakes in silver card and adhered them to a piece of night of navy card, following the sketch.  I didn’t pick out the centre of the top snowflake – I thought it looked pretty as it was.

The sentiment was stamped in night of navy ink onto whisper white card using the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, and then hand cut into a flag shape.

The pretty paper in the background is by the Lovely Studio.

Finally, I sprinkled a few adhesive rhinestones here and there.

I hope you’ve been inspired to join the challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown  – we’d love to see you there.

Enjoy your weekend
