Masculine Christmas card

Hello and welcome.

Masculine cards are not the easiest to make, so for this week’s challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, I turned to my husband for help with my design…

I asked his advice about what type of card he likes to receive and jotted down several ideas as we chatted.

First, I stamped a whisper white piece of cardstock using the Christmas Season stamp set by Stampin’ Up, in a variety of ink colours – certainly celery, garden green, old olive and real red, and then adhered this to an old olive base card.

I stamped the sentiment from Holly Jolly Wishes in early espresso ink onto a stitched oval die cut in whisper white, inked around the edges and popped it up onto the card.

And that was it – my husband said it needed nothing more – job done!

I hope you’ve been inspired to join the challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown this week – we would love to see your cards.

Enjoy your weekend
