Cherry thanks…

I love the challenge on the Less is More website this week – buttons and bows are my favourite embellishments!

This was a quick and easy card to do, used very little supplies, and I love the way it turned out.

I stamped all images onto whisper white cardstock and then popped up some faux buttons,

made with the sweet buttons embosslit, with dimensionals on to the cherries – love it!

Stampin Up supplies used:

Cardstock: whisper white, real red; Inks: real red; Stamp sets: tart and tangy, thank you kindly, baby blossoms; Accessories: stampin’ write markers in real red and garden green, real red satin ribbon, stampamajig, stampin’ dimensionals, sweet buttons embosslit.

Happy 60th….

I know it’s not the usual type of 60th birthday card but I thought it would be fun for my brother-in-law as he is still young at heart … and I know his grandchildren will love it!  I guess it will be the only card he receives likes this anyhow!  🙂

These fun lolly-ice, or popsicle, cards have been round for a while and there are lots of examples on the web.

I followed the tutorial on Angie’s blog  to make one as a topper for my card, attaching it with stampin dimensionals.

The lolly also opened to reveal a birthday message…

I did some stamping on the inside too…

Stampin Up supplies used:

Cardstock: crumb cake, whisper white, real red; Inks: real red, crumb cake; Stamp sets: tart & tangy, party this way, schoolbook serif numbers, afterthoughts (hostess level 1 set), heard from the heart; Punches: scallop edge, scallop circle, 1 3/8” circle, 1¼” circle, corner rounder; Accessories: stampin dimensionals, stampin write markers in real red and certainly celery, real red striped grosgrain ribbon (retired), lolly-ice stick from my kitchen.
