My beautiful daughter is getting married next year to an amazing guy, who we love to bits. They make a lovely couple and are so great together – my husband and I couldn’t be happier. We definitely are not losing a daughter – we are gaining a wonderful new member to our family.
They have a fantastic wedding venue booked on the beautiful island of Malta, where we have spent many happy times and enjoyed a family holiday together there not so long ago.
My daughter is a writer, working on the editorial team at Mills & Boon, and was asked to write about her wedding preparations for the Confetti website. You can read about her journey so far on her blog post …

Last weekend, the bride and groom hand delivered some of the invitations to the guests, and I am so pleased that I can finally share the invitations with you.
The couple wanted something special and very different, and had a vision for the invitations to be just that – a keepsake that was fun too. Close wedding party guests received treasure chests, containing tiny glass bottles filled with golden sand and teeny tiny shells, plus the invitation scroll, stamped with images from the open sea stamp set…
Those who live a little further away received invitations that could be sent in the post …
It was fun spending time with my daughter putting different ideas and designs together. This is the final version – a clean and simple design but just what the bride wanted.
This fits so beautifully with the theme over on the Less is More website – which this week is tearing – perfect timing!
