Gingham garden mini album and paper clay rose …

I promised I would share the project I designed and demonstrated for a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators at Michelle’s craft day last weekend.  So here it is – my little gingham garden mini album …

Mini album

The mini album is made from just 2 pieces of whisper white cardstock, with a little extra for sentiments and embellishments, plus some gingham garden designer series paper to decorate.

If you would like to make the mini album yourself, I have a 5 page tutorial available, containing lots of photographs as well as step-by-step instructions, including hints and tips on how to use the simply pressed clay to make your own perfect embellishments.

When given this task, I didn’t want to just do a quick make and take … instead, I approached it from a different angle, from a crafter’s perspective. I wanted to design a project that I would like to make, and I wanted it to be something that other crafters would love to make too …

So that was my starting point, a project that would be a joy to make, and a joy to receive.  So I designed this cute little mini album, that folds out, and then out, and out again …

Made from whisper white cardstock, with gingham garden designer series paper for decoration and embellishments…

And there are plenty of places to add photographs or messages …

Here’s what I used to make today’s project – all supplies from Stampin’ Up!:

Thanks for dropping by today
