Kraft Christmas card with gilding flakes

Hello and welcome.

I loved making my card for this week’s colour challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown

I just had fun adding flitterglu in a random pattern over a piece of crumb cake card, which is the nearest I have to a kraft coloured card.

I then added gold gilding flakes and pressed gently with my fingers, before removing some of the excess flakes.

The focal image is a stitched star die cut, popped up on foam squares. I added a simple greeting and some gold sequins.

The gilding flakes pattern is different every time, so each card is unique – which I love.

I’m sharing my card with the Happy Little Stampers May challenge – “anything goes with dies”.

I hope you’ve been inspired and that you join us over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

Enjoy your weekend
