Hello and welcome. The first challenge of the month is always a sketch at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown – here’s my take on it…
I kept strictly to the sketch, choosing 3 different patterened papers from the same paper pack as the colours co-ordinated well for the 3 horizontal panels. I added a deckle edge die cut in very vanilla card, and to this I popped up a deer die cut from the Winter Wonderland thinlits die set by Tim Holtz in riding hood red, also popped up with foam pads.
The sentiment was stamped in black in on very vanilla card and cut out with the modern label punch. I then added a red layer using 2 more lable punches and popped this up on foam tape.
I added red stickles to the antlers for some sparkle and couldn’t resist adding a red sequin for a nose.
